Courses

Guppies and Dolphins Swim offers seven comprehensive swimming course levels that teach you, your child or other family members how to swim skillfully and safely.  The prerequisite for each level is the successful demonstration of the skills from the preceding level, except for Level 1, which has no prerequisite.  The skills of every child will be assessed the first day. If your child is enrolled in the incorrect level the child will be moved to the appropriate level.

The RED CROSS recommends that children complete Level 3 to be safe in the pool.

WE DO NOT THROW YOUR CHILD IN THE POOL.

Parent and Child Aquatics

There is no skill prerequisite for parent and child aquatics.  A child must be 6 months of age to enroll in the class.  A parent and/or other adult caregiver is required to accompany each child in the water.  The instructor teaches the parent how to work with their child in ways that will encourage enjoyment in the water. The adult must participate in the classes.  Parent and child aquatics introduce infants and young children to aquatics in two levels.  Both levels will be in the same class.
