Real Stories, Real People
Dear Ms. Grace:
I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your dedication in teaching my granddaughter how to swim. I am sure that your training has prevented many catastrophes to young people by adequately preparing them to recognize and defend themselves from many of the perils that they encounter while swimming.Your method of teaching is most effective. Taking each child at his/her own level customizes the program for every student. You also impressed me with the way that you broke down the challenge of swimming into its fundamental parts. This provided not only for more effective teaching, but also allowed the children to understand how all of the parts worked together.I hope you will continue your program for many years to come. You are a real asset to our community.
I just wanted to say thank you for showing my son that swimming is fun. He loves swim class... He can not wait to get to Miss Grace's class. At first, I could not understant the parents staying out of sight thing. Now that 2 weeks have elapsed I get it. Your program is brilliant. I highly recommend it.
I'm writing a quick note to say how much we are enjoying swimming class at Guppies and Dolphins. I have to say, I was initially worried about how in the world I would entertain my 1yr old during a preschool class for my 4yr old, followed by a class for my 6yr old and the break in between, but my 3 boys love playing with the toys on your porch and on the playset and sandbox in the fenced in area.
Both of my older boys were afraid to dunk their heads in the water, even to get their hair wet or water in their face in the bath or shower. I can't believe that they are both soaking wet from head to toe after their swimming classes, with happy faces! My preschooler cried and cried after his second class, when they were challenged a bit more; however, we talked only positively that entire night and when we returned the next day for class, he willingly walked back to the pool and when finished with class had a big smile on his face, knowing that he had done a good job. I truly believe that coming to class consecutive days for the 2 week period makes all the difference. There is no time for fears to grow and manifest like they may when classes are a week apart or even just twice per week. The four days in a row have really helped my sons start to enjoy the water. I am just so proud of them both and can't believe they willingly jump right in the water after such a short time!! Thanks again for all of your hard work - we look forward to next week.
Dear Ms. Grace,
We appreciate the time you've spent with ____ over these past few weeks. It's evident the love you have for children and their safety...because it truly shines through! ______ may have started out skeptical and scared, but you helped him get pass that...And for that we Thank You!
I wanted to let you know how much my wife and I appreciate what you do. We get asked all the time where do the kids take lessons because they are much further than kids their own age. I tell them our kids story how they would not put their face in the water on the first day and by the end of their first two week session they were jumping in the pool and swimming across the pool. We have signed up for our 6th session and we will continue to come and see you. I tell every one who wants to know that you teach kids to love the water first and then you teach them to swim. I believe you are doing God's work with our kids. Please know that our whole family loves you and please continue doing what you do.
